I’ve had a wonderful residency at Visby International Center for Composers (Sweden) for the month of April, through a Swedish Arts Council grant. I worked on a percussion quartet, and interacted with many inspiring composers, performers, and students in the Center’s wonderfully equipped facility, on the island of Gotland, and in Stockholm.
Andy Wen is performing Half-Time as part of his busy recital schedule. It was great fun to hear him at Messiah University with Todd Goranson, another fabulous saxophone player, in an outstanding program of new compositions.
